Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Butterfly Around Flowers by Pan Jingshu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 165,200.00 (€ 17,007.82). Admittedly, works by Pan Jingshu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Fruits in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 113,027.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterfly Around Flowers von Pan Jingshu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 160.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 165.200,00 (€ 17.007,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pan Jingshu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 113.027,44).
