In December 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale), which included this untitled work by Pan Dehai. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 980,000.00 (€ 90,825.49), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Dehai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pimples Series - Tiananmen, which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 2,527,500.00 (€ 225,357.69).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pan Dehai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 980.000,00 (€ 90.825,49) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Dehai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pimples Series - Tiananmen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 2.527.500,00 (€ 225.357,69) versteigert wurde.
