In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The North Wall by Pan Dehai. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,206.34), 31% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Dehai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pimples Series - Tiananmen in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,527,500.00 (€ 225,357.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The North Wall von Pan Dehai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.206,34) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Dehai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pimples Series - Tiananmen im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.527.500,00 (€ 225.357,69).
