Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Ganesha) by Pakhal Tirumal Reddy was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,334.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pakhal Tirumal Reddy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concept Of Sun in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,934.26).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Ganesha) von Pakhal Tirumal Reddy kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.334,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pakhal Tirumal Reddy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concept Of Sun im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.934,26).
