A top price for Pádraig MacMiadhacháin - as previously expected
In October 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Irish Art, which included the work Waiting For The Tide by Pádraig MacMiadhacháin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 5,026.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Waiting For The Tide is the most expensive artwork by Pádraig MacMiadhacháin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waiting For The Tide von Pádraig MacMiadhacháin zur Versteigerung kam.
