Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Totem de la Paz (Totem of Peace) by Pablo Atchugarry. The price achieved of USD 226,800.00 (€ 208,609.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Atchugarry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin título, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 649,200.00 (€ 575,174.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Totem de la Paz (Totem of Peace) von Pablo Atchugarry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 208.609,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Atchugarry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin título beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 649.200,00 (€ 575.174,98) versteigert wurde.
