Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pierre Dumont could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work A successful catch changed hands for GBP 204.00 (€ 300.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Dumont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 27,801.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Dumont konnte im März 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit A successful catch für GBP 204,00 (€ 300,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Dumont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Normandie, Paysage De Bords De Mer im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.801,00.
