Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dictum II by Owusu-Ankomah was sold in the Modern and Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,420.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Owusu-Ankomah have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Ghan aianmovement No. 4 was auctioned for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,782.67).
