The work Bapende by Owusu-Ankomah was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,210.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Owusu-Ankomah - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghan aianmovement No. 4, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,782.67).

Die Arbeit Bapende von Owusu-Ankomah kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.210,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Owusu-Ankomah mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghan aianmovement No. 4 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.782,67) versteigert wurde.
