Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage Anonyme, 1946 by Otto Tschumi was sold in the SCHWEIZER KUNST auction at Christies in Geneva in June 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 646.25 (€ 424.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Tschumi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage, 1935 Landscape, 1935 in November 2008 with an auction result of CHF 23,750.00 (€ 15,379.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage Anonyme, 1946 von Otto Tschumi wurde im Juni 2001 in der Auktion SCHWEIZER KUNST bei Christies in Genf versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 646,25 (€ 424,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Tschumi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage, 1935 Landscape, 1935 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 23.750,00 (€ 15.379,31).
