Sold at the lower estimate price

The work The Visitor by Otto Eerelman was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2011. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,323.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Eerelman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.
