This artwork by Otto Eerelman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work Saint-Bernard puppies sold for EUR 43,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otto Eerelman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 213,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Eerelman erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Saint-Bernard puppies für EUR 43.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Eerelman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Bernard puppies playing with Indian cress im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 213.600,00.
