Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART, which included the work Auvergne, France by Otto B. de Kat. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,585.00 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto B. de Kat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De ronde tafel - Ukkel, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 7,528.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Auvergne, France von Otto B. de Kat zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.585,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto B. de Kat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit De ronde tafel - Ukkel beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 7.528,50 versteigert wurde.
