Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le port by Otto Beyer was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2003. The price achieved of USD 3,824.00 (€ 3,547.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otto Beyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landschaft bei Ferch am Schwielowsee in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le port von Otto Beyer kam im Februar 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.824,00 (€ 3.547,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Beyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landschaft bei Ferch am Schwielowsee im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
