Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Øssur Mohr achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Landscape from the Faroe Islands sold for DKK 11,000.00 (€ 1,476.74) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Øssur Mohr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Morgen i Marts, Færøerne”, 2009, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 3,495.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Øssur Mohr erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern art and design wurde die Arbeit Landscape from the Faroe Islands für DKK 11.000,00 (€ 1.476,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Øssur Mohr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Morgen i Marts, Færøerne”, 2009 beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 3.495,89) versteigert wurde.
