Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal scene, Faroe Islands by Øssur Mohr for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.60). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Øssur Mohr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Morgen i Marts, Færøerne”, 2009 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 3,495.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coastal scene, Faroe Islands von Øssur Mohr für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Øssur Mohr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Morgen i Marts, Færøerne”, 2009 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 3.495,89).
