In September 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work A Neapolitan fruit market by Oscar Ricciardi. The result of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Ricciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,359.89).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Neapolitan fruit market von Oscar Ricciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.770,25) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Ricciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.359,89).
