This artwork by Oscar Nemon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2011. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Sir Winston Churchill sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,970.52) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oscar Nemon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winston Churchill, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 44,450.00 (€ 51,561.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Oscar Nemon erzielte im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Sir Winston Churchill für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.970,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oscar Nemon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winston Churchill beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 44.450,00 (€ 51.561,87) versteigert wurde.
