Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Profile of Sir Winston Churchill by Oscar Nemon for GBP 375.00 (€ 437.77). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Nemon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winston Churchill in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 44,450.00 (€ 51,561.87).
