In June 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Natura Morta Con Ramo di Magnolia by Oscar Ghiglia. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 64,480.00 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Oscar Ghiglia; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Natura morta con calle ed arance sold at auction in December 2003 with the realized price of EUR 99,200.00.

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura Morta Con Ramo di Magnolia von Oscar Ghiglia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 64.480,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Oscar Ghiglia; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Natura morta con calle ed arance im Dezember 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 99.200,00.
