This artwork by Oscar Ghiglia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2011. In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work Donna di spalle in un interno sold for EUR 26,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oscar Ghiglia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Natura morta con calle ed arance, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 99,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oscar Ghiglia erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures wurde die Arbeit Donna di spalle in un interno für EUR 26.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oscar Ghiglia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Natura morta con calle ed arance beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für EUR 99.200,00 versteigert wurde.
