A top price for Osamu Tezuka - as previously expected
The work All Stars by Osamu Tezuka was sold in the HI-LITE Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,737.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, All Stars is the most expensive artwork by Osamu Tezuka that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit All Stars von Osamu Tezuka wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion HI-LITE Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.737,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist All Stars das teuerste Kunstwerk von Osamu Tezuka, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
