Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset Cats by Orovida Camille Pissarro was sold in the Modern/British Art Online auction at Christies in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,405.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orovida Camille Pissarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinka With A Bongo, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,367.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunset Cats von Orovida Camille Pissarro wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Modern/British Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.405,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Orovida Camille Pissarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinka With A Bongo beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.367,08) versteigert wurde.
