Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mistero Estasi by Orazio Bacci was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,268.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orazio Bacci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dms 570, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,466.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mistero Estasi von Orazio Bacci wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.268,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Orazio Bacci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dms 570 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.466,64) versteigert wurde.
