Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work A. Onde Luce No. 110 B. Onde Luce No. 116 by Orazio Bacci. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,857.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orazio Bacci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dms 570, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,466.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A. Onde Luce No. 110 B. Onde Luce No. 116 von Orazio Bacci zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.857,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Orazio Bacci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dms 570 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.466,64) versteigert wurde.
