This artwork by Orazio Bacci achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Modern Art auction, the work A. Group Photo Of The Bacci Family, Hsiao Chin, Ho Kan And Friends B. The 4Th Punto Movement Catalogues (Set Of Eight) sold for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,429.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Orazio Bacci; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dms 570 sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,466.64).
