It achieved a price of GBP 418.25 (€ 601.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olwyn Bowey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gardener's World in July this year with an auction result of GBP 15,360.00 (€ 17,920.46).

Die Arbeit Wild Flowers & Bumble Bees von Olwyn Bowey kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 418,25 (€ 601,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olwyn Bowey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gardener's World im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.360,00 (€ 17.920,46).
