Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Oli Epp could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Choking Hazard changed hands for USD 27,940.00 (€ 26,398.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oli Epp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Love Song in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 208,986.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oli Epp konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Choking Hazard für USD 27.940,00 (€ 26.398,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00.
