Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Olga Sacharoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December 2013. In the Modern Art 2 auction, the work Jardin D'Eden sold for EUR 43,927.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Sacharoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Route, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 99,136.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olga Sacharoff erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Jardin D'Eden für EUR 43.927,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Sacharoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Route beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 99.136,00 versteigert wurde.
