Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Under The Sea by Olga Sacharoff was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,550.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Sacharoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Route, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 99,136.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Under The Sea von Olga Sacharoff kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.550,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Sacharoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Route beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 99.136,00 versteigert wurde.
