Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Under The Sea by Olga Sacharoff was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,550.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Sacharoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Route, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 99,136.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.550,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Sacharoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Route beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 99.136,00 versteigert wurde.
