Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Ramillete con fondo azul by Olga Costa for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,213.86). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olga Costa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Juchiteca con sandía in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 84,047.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ramillete con fondo azul von Olga Costa für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.213,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olga Costa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Juchiteca con sandía im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 84.047,74).
