Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Oleg Tselkov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction, the work Portrait sold for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 60,116.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oleg Tselkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy with Balloons in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 571,600.00 (€ 681,798.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oleg Tselkov erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 60.116,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oleg Tselkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy with Balloons im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 571.600,00 (€ 681.798,90).
