A top price for Oleg Tselkov
This artwork by Oleg Tselkov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction, the work Boy with Balloons sold for GBP 571,600.00 (€ 681,798.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. This high result makes Boy with Balloons the most expensive artwork by Oleg Tselkov that we have observed at auctions so far.
