It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Oleg Tistol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colouring in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,125.01).

Die Arbeit Eggs With Mayonnaise von Oleg Tistol wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Tistol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colouring im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.125,01).
