Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Contemporary Passions, which included the work Ohne Titel (Untitled) by Olaf Holzapfel. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Olaf Holzapfel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2009 the work Hot Spot was auctioned for GBP 8,250.00 (€ 9,213.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Contemporary Passions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Untitled) von Olaf Holzapfel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Olaf Holzapfel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2009 die Arbeit Hot Spot für GBP 8.250,00 (€ 9.213,94) versteigert.
