This artwork by Okumura Masanobu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2007. In the The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,662.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Okumura Masanobu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The actor Sanogawa Ichimatsu I in March last year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,260.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Okumura Masanobu erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design wurde die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.662,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Okumura Masanobu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The actor Sanogawa Ichimatsu I im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 27.260,43).
