This artwork by Okumura Masanobu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2013. In the The Japanese Aesthetic auction, the work The actor Nakamura Tomijuro with two karashishi puppets, signed Hogetsudo Okumura Bunkaku Masanobu ga, sealed Tanshosai and Masanobu sold for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,706.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Okumura Masanobu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The actor Sanogawa Ichimatsu I in March last year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,260.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Okumura Masanobu erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
