Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Space of Variations - 3. East (from the series Mandala Dance) by Oksana Mas was sold in the Contemporary Discoveries auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,858.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oksana Mas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drive 9, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 33,650.00 (€ 39,487.15).

Die Arbeit Space of Variations - 3. East (from the series Mandala Dance) von Oksana Mas wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Discoveries bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.858,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Oksana Mas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drive 9 beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 33.650,00 (€ 39.487,15) versteigert wurde.
