Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wheel by Oksana Mas was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,250.00 (€ 5,114.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Oksana Mas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drive 9 in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 33,650.00 (€ 39,487.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wheel von Oksana Mas wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.250,00 (€ 5.114,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oksana Mas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drive 9 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.650,00 (€ 39.487,15).
