Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 1,2,3 And Hats by Shinrō Ōtake was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,263.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shinrō Ōtake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work RETINA SHIPYARD in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 219,342.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 1,2,3 And Hats von Shinrō Ōtake wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.263,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shinrō Ōtake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit RETINA SHIPYARD im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 219.342,03).
