Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Faces Places: Online Auction, which included the work Ephyra by ob. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 214,200.00 (€ 25,898.34). Admittedly, works by ob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Wished that I May Gaze upon that Changing Forest Forever in May this year with an auction result of USD 165,100.00 (€ 154,965.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ephyra von ob zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 214.200,00 (€ 25.898,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von ob auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Wished that I May Gaze upon that Changing Forest Forever im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 165.100,00 (€ 154.965,27).
