Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wind Film (reproduction) by ob was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 177,800.00 (€ 21,501.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by ob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Wished that I May Gaze upon that Changing Forest Forever in May this year with an auction result of USD 165,100.00 (€ 154,965.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wind Film (reproduction) von ob kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.800,00 (€ 21.501,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von ob auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Wished that I May Gaze upon that Changing Forest Forever im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 165.100,00 (€ 154.965,27).
