Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Three Dancers by Nyoman Gunarsa. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,325.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nyoman Gunarsa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dancers in July 2003 with an auction result of HKD 107,550.00 (€ 11,200.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Dancers von Nyoman Gunarsa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.325,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nyoman Gunarsa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dancers im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 11.200,58).
