Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancers by Nyoman Gunarsa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,816.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nyoman Gunarsa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancers, which sold at auction in July 2003 for HKD 107,550.00 (€ 11,200.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dancers von Nyoman Gunarsa kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.816,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nyoman Gunarsa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancers beobachtet, die im Juli 2003 für HKD 107.550,00 (€ 11.200,58) versteigert wurde.
