Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Dancers by Nyoman Gunarsa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 7,211.11), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Nyoman Gunarsa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 107,550.00 (€ 11,200.58) in July 2003 for the work Dancers.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dancers von Nyoman Gunarsa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 7.211,11) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Nyoman Gunarsa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 11.200,58) im Juli 2003 für die Arbeit Dancers beobachtet.
