The work Balinese offering by Nyoman Gunarsa was sold in the Indonesian Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2007. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nyoman Gunarsa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dancers in July 2003 with an auction result of HKD 107,550.00 (€ 11,200.58).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Balinese offering von Nyoman Gunarsa wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion Indonesian Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nyoman Gunarsa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dancers im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 11.200,58).
