Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,073.68). Admittedly, works by Noriyuki Nakayama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New Wind in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mermaid Eyes; & Farewell In November von Noriyuki Nakayama kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.073,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noriyuki Nakayama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New Wind im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 54.952,92).
