This artwork by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in August 2004. In the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction, the work Zebras sold for AUD 2,629.00 (€ 1,525.87) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Portfolio of Prints in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 20,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth erzielte im August 2004 bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS wurde die Arbeit Zebras für AUD 2.629,00 (€ 1.525,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Portfolio of Prints im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
