Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Monkeys by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth. The price achieved of AUD 2,390.00 (€ 1,392.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Portfolio of Prints in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 20,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monkeys von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.390,00 (€ 1.392,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Portfolio of Prints im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
