Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flamingos by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. The price achieved of AUD 1,195.00 (€ 696.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norbertine Bresslern-Roth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Portfolio of Prints in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 20,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flamingos von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.195,00 (€ 696,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norbertine Bresslern-Roth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Portfolio of Prints im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
